High Interest Question

Should all students be required to use laptops to take notes and the whole education system go digital (more use of blogs, similar style to our journalism class).

  1. No, I do not think that technological advances in school should be required for all students, because not all students in public education can afford these things. However, if students want to use laptops, iPads, iPhones, etc. to help further their education than they should be allowed to.

  2. No I do not think that technological advances would be a good idea in school for all students. I think that if this were the case then most kids would be on social media websites instead of doing what they're actually supposed to be doing. Also, some people may not be able to afford them.

  3. No. Technological advances in my opinion are a distraction. Personally if i had to take notes on a laptop ide spend more time on facebook then doing actual work.

  4. No I do not feel that every part of learning should be digitalized because students may not be able to afford the technology that is required. Physically taking notes for some kids helps the information stick in their minds better while technology can become a huge distraction.

  5. I feel that they should allow to let kids do it if they choose but not require it because kids are now growing up with some type of digital screen in there face. But on the other hand kids cant always afford these things.
